I am writing this letter to inform you about an inter school tournament. I got selected for that tournament ______ (two/three/any other) days back. This being an inter school tournament, the selection process was massive. This competition is being conducted by the state education board and the agenda of the competition is to promote students in a higher level.
My teachers have helped me out a lot in going through the selection rounds. There were about _____ (no. of rounds) rounds and we were supposed to gain points in each round. So yes, I gained the highest in my category and went through it. There are no registration charges or any sort of thing like that, because this competition is an open call for all the students.
For the main school tournament, ranking system will be set again and everything will be begin from the initial stage. With the help of teachers, I hope I will be able to secure some or the other position. But I always remember your words, I will not be seeking and running after positions, I will be striving for success.
