Sample Letter to Friend Explaining Him About the Importance of Joint Family System
Date: __ /__ /____ (Date)
From _____,
Dear _______,
Hi dear, I hope you are doing well. How is everyone at home? I hope you are taking care of your health.
I am writing this letter to share some of my opinion on joint family. You know that after marriage I have been living in a joint family. I came from a nuclear family which is very different from a joint family. I just thought to open up and share my views.
Here, the best part is, living with a lot of people around. The responsibilities are a lot, but they are all divided. In this way, I get a lot of time to prepare myself for any activity coming forth in the family. All the festivals are being celebrated together, which eventually calls for a feast. Every single day, we come together and share whatever happened, which binds us all together and gives us peace. I somehow feel it is better if we have our own people around us. They sort of help us with many small responsibilities and make us feel worthy.
I lacked a few of these surroundings and activities in my family. But I am happy here. I have elderly people who would always give me blessings for the day. All these things around me have definitely made me understand the meaning of family. I really had a good family back then too, but it’s more beautiful now. And I wish to cherish all of it.
I want you to understand that living in a joint family is never a curse, as you mentioned earlier. But just embrace all of them, everyone will give you love back.
Make sure to ponder upon these things.
With love.
Yours loving,
_________ (Name)
