Subject: Lost school diary
Respected Sir/Madam,
With due respect, I am writing this letter because my ward has lost his school diary in his classroom. There is a lot of important information in the school diary-like _______ (homework/fees slip/dates for class test/any other).
I would request you to please inform me if you find a lost diary. My ward lost it in his classroom “________ (class)”. The diary is ______ (color) in color, rectangular in shape, and has a name slip with his/her name on it. It is compulsory for all the children to carry their diaries with them as it contains emergency contacts and important information, hence I request you to either look for it in the Lost and Found section. Meanwhile, issue my child a new diary. I am ready to pay all applicable charges.
